Col de Vizzavona connects Corte to Ajaccio and is one of the four big passes in Corsica linking the island’s two slopes from west to east. Located in the heart of Corsica’s regional park, this pass reaches a height of 1,163 metres and sits between Monte d'Oro (2,389 metres) and Monte Renoso (2,352 metres). From the top of the pass, you can enjoy wonderful views over Corsica and also start hikes in the surrounding area. The Cascade des Anglais is one of the most well-known walks. This cascade hurtles down 600 metres over rocks and entices hikers to enjoy a swim on hot days. Its ultra-pure waters are 15°C, offering an oasis of cool in the heat of a Corsican summer.
