These rocky inlets are a listed UNESCO World Heritage Site and form part of Corsica’s iconic landscapes. The ochre and red hues of these uniquely shaped rocks contrast strongly with the Mediterranean’s deep blue. Legend says that the rocky inlets of Piana were created by the devil when he turned a shepherd into stone for disobeying him. As you stroll around, use your imagination to spot the horned devil, shepherd, lion and mother breastfeeding her child. The rocky inlets can be explored along hiking trails from the coast, with lookout points and stunning views. Beautiful trails wind their way around the inlets, which can also be admired from the sea with a boat trip. If you have time, try both! Each will reveal a new side of the rocky inlets to you.
